Refund Policy (ShopHost)

Company: ShopHost (“ShopHost”, “we”, “us”, “our”)

This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which ShopHost provides refunds for purchases made on the ShopHost platform.

1. No Refund Policy (Plan Purchase / Upgrade)

ShopHost offers access to a digital product and digital services. Therefore:

  • All plan purchases/upgrades (₹14,999 per store + 18% GST) are non-refundable.
  • Once a payment is successfully completed, no refund, chargeback reversal, or cancellation will be provided for the plan purchase.

This applies regardless of:

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Incorrect purchase by the customer
  • Lack of usage after purchase
  • Business closure or discontinuation by the merchant

2. Free Plan Availability

Before purchasing, merchants can start with the Free Plan to evaluate ShopHost.

Free Plan limits:

  • Up to 8 products
  • Up to 10 orders

After reaching these limits, merchants can upgrade if they want to continue.

3. Wallet Top-ups (Shipping Wallet)

ShopHost provides a shipping wallet to enable order shipping via Shipdaak.

  • Wallet top-ups are generally non-refundable, as they are intended for shipping usage.
  • If a wallet top-up is successful but the balance is not credited due to a technical issue, ShopHost will investigate and either:
    • Credit the wallet balance, or
    • Refund the amount (only in case the wallet credit cannot be completed)

To raise such a request, the merchant must submit a support ticket with:

  • Payment gateway reference/transaction ID
  • Amount
  • Date and time of payment
  • Registered store details

4. Duplicate or Incorrect Wallet Top-ups

If you accidentally top up the wallet multiple times, ShopHost will evaluate the request on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are not guaranteed and may be declined if the amount is already used for shipping or locked in shipping transactions.

5. Shipping Charges and Shipment Cancellations

If a shipment/label is created and later cancelled:

  • Wallet adjustments (refund/credit) depend on shipment status and courier rules.
  • Any eligible reversals will be reflected in your wallet and wallet ledger in the admin panel.

ShopHost does not guarantee reversals for shipments that have already progressed beyond certain courier stages.

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

If a merchant raises a payment chargeback with their bank/payment provider:

  • ShopHost reserves the right to suspend the merchant’s account until the dispute is resolved.
  • If the chargeback is found invalid, ShopHost may restrict platform access and recover associated costs, as permitted by law.

7. Contact and Support

For payment or refund-related issues, create a ticket in your ShopHost admin panel. Typical ticket response time: 2–3 working days.

8. Policy Updates

ShopHost may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised Effective Date.
