Terms & Conditions (ShopHost)

These Terms govern your access to and use of ShopHost Services.

1. Definitions

  • “Merchant”: The store owner using ShopHost.
  • “Store”: The e-commerce storefront created on ShopHost.
  • “Services”: ShopHost platform features, including store creation, admin panel, payments integrations, shipping integrations, support tools, and related services.

2. Eligibility and Account

You must provide accurate information during signup. Access to the admin panel is provided via WhatsApp OTP login. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by staff users you create under RBAC.

3. Plans and Pricing

  • ShopHost offers a Free Plan with limits of 8 products and 10 order.
  • Upgrade Plan: â‚ą14,999 per store (one-time only) + 18% GST.
  • If you want multiple stores, you must create separate signups and pay separately per store.
  • ShopHost does not charge a monthly subscription for the upgrade plan.

4. No Refund Policy

All purchases are non-refundable, including plan upgrades and digital services, as ShopHost provides a digital product/service and platform access.

5. Payments

Online payments are processed via a payment gateway. ShopHost does not store full card/bank details. Payment gateway’s terms and fees apply.

6. Shipping Services (Shipdaak)

  • ShopHost provides shipping through its integrated Shipdaak account (master account).
  • Merchants must maintain a sufficient balance in their ShopHost shipping wallet to create/ship orders.
  • ShopHost may charge a platform fee per shipment as displayed in the admin panel.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier operations, customer availability, address issues, force majeure, etc.

7. COD Settlement

For COD orders, Shipdaak collects COD amounts and settles to ShopHost; ShopHost then settles to merchants as per the settlement process shown in the admin panel. Settlement timelines may vary.

8. Merchant Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws (including consumer protection, GST, e-commerce rules)
  • Provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, and policies
  • Fulfill orders and handle returns/exchanges responsibly
  • Use ShopHost tools lawfully and do not misuse the platform
  • Maintain updated pickup address and contact information

9. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use ShopHost for illegal products/services
  • Infringe IP rights, spam, or attempt unauthorized access
  • Upload malware or disrupt platform operations
  • Misuse of shipping, payment, or customer data

ShopHost may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

10. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

11. Data and Content

You own the store data you upload. You grant ShopHost the necessary license to host, process, and display that content to provide the Services. You are responsible for the legality of your content and customer data handling.

12. Support

Support is provided via:

  • WhatsApp bot (24Ă—7)
  • Support tickets (24Ă—7 creation; response typically within 2–3 working days) Executives may call merchants if required. Direct calling to support is not provided.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShopHost will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption. ShopHost’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by you to ShopHost for the relevant store plan in the preceding period, subject to applicable law.

14. Termination

ShopHost may suspend/terminate access for violation of these Terms. Merchants may stop using Services at any time. Export tools are available as provided in the admin panel.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction: [Surat, Gujarat] (or your preferred jurisdiction).
