Shipping Policy (ShopHost)

This Shipping Policy describes how shipping works on ShopHost-powered stores.
1. Courier Partner
ShopHost uses Shipdaak or Shiprocket for PAN-India delivery through a direct integration.
2. Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are calculated based on factors including pickup/delivery pincodes, weight, and shipment type.
- ShopHost applies a platform fee per shipment as displayed during shipment creation.
- Final shipping cost is shown to the merchant in the admin panel.
3. Shipping Wallet Requirement
Merchants must maintain a sufficient balance in their ShopHost shipping wallet. If the wallet balance is insufficient, shipping label/awb creation and shipping actions may be blocked until funds are added.
4. Wallet Top-ups
Wallet top-ups are available via Razorpay. Minimum top-up amount is ₹200.
5. Pickup
Pickup is handled automatically through the Shipdaak or Shiprocket process. Merchants must ensure: Correct pickup address

- Packages are ready and properly packed
- Accurate weight and dimensions are provided
6. Serviceability
Delivery availability depends on the pin code serviceability. ShopHost may provide serviceability checks in the admin panel.
7. Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines are estimates and depend on courier operations, distance, weather, local restrictions, address accuracy, customer availability, and other factors outside ShopHost control.
8. Tracking
Tracking details will be provided to the customer directly via WhatsApp or email.
9. COD Orders
For COD shipments, Shipdaak collects cash from the customer and remits it to ShopHost, after which ShopHost settles it to the merchant as per the settlement process. Shiprocket will directly remit to the store admin.
10. Returns / RTO
If delivery fails, shipments may be returned to origin (RTO) as per courier rules. Any applicable shipping/RTO charges will be handled as per the charges shown in the admin panel and courier terms.
11. NDR (Non-Delivery Report)
NDR actions can be taken from the NDR tab available in the admin panel.
12. Packaging Responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for safe packaging suitable for transit. ShopHost is not responsible for damage due to inadequate packaging.
13. Support
For shipping-related issues, use the WhatsApp bot or create a support ticket from the admin panel.
